This auxiliary hydraulic coupler guard is designed specifically for the Takeuchi TL8R2 to protect vulnerable auxiliary hydraulic couplers from impact, debris, and jobsite damage. CNC laser cut and precision bent from 1/4-inch thick steel, the guard delivers repeatable accuracy and a rigid protective barrier without interfering with machine operation.
The guard is a 100% bolt-on installation and requires no modification to your machine. It is designed to work whether you choose to retain or remove the factory entry/exit grab handle, offering flexibility based on operator preference.
Installation is straightforward: loosen the six hardline mounting bolts, remove the four coupler block mounting bolts, slide the guard between the coupler block and boom, and reinstall using the included extended mounting hardware. All hardware is torqued to 55 ft-lbs for proper fitment and security.
The guard ships powder coated black and includes all required extended mounting bolts. To the best of our knowledge, this guard only fits the Takeuchi TL8R2.
